Canada House: La Maison des Canadiens, or Canada House, is a prominent feature in many photographs and films of the Canadian D-Day landings at Bernières-sur-Mer, France. It had served as a German headquarters before it was taken by members of the Queen’s Own Rifles in the first minutes of the invasion on June 6, 1944. Photo Credit: Michael M. Dean/DND/LAC/PA-183205
