  • How can I sign in to my account?

Legion Magazine shop accounts are unique and are not used anywhere else.

Click Sign in in the top right corner of the screen and enter your unique username or email and password.

  • How do I reset my password?

If you’ve forgotten your password, you can select “Lost your password?”  under the Log in button to send your email a reset code, or you can call our office to have your password reset manually.

If you do not have an account with the Legion Magazine shop, then no email will be sent.

  • What payment methods can I use?

All online purchases require a credit card or a VISA debit card.

You can also call our office to make a credit card payment over the phone, or you can mail us a cheque or money order along with a renewal notice or an order request.

  • My credit card has expired; how do I update my payment details?

You can save or update your payment details when logged into your Legion Magazine shop account, by clicking on “My Account” in the main menu at the top of the page, then navigating to your “Payment Methods”. From there you can “Add Payment Method” to add your updated payment details.

Be sure to delete any expired or out of date payment methods once they’ve been replaced.

You can also change which payment method to use for any active subscriptions by navigating to “Subscriptions”, selecting “View” on the subscription of interest, and clicking “Change Payment”.

You will see the last 4 digits of the current card recorded on file on the subscription details page.

  • I have subscribed! When do I get my first magazine?

Please allow up to 4-6 weeks before receiving your first issue.

There are 6 issues of Legion Magazine published per year, released every 2 months. They get shipped to subscribers at the start of January, March, May, July, September and November.

There are 4 issues of Canada’s Ultimate Story published per year, released every 3 months. They get shipped to subscribers at the start of February, May, August and November.

  • How do I renew my subscription?

If you purchased your subscription online, it may be eligible for auto-renewal – it will automatically renew at the current subscription price on your renewal date, which is available for viewing in “My Account” from the main menu and “Subscriptions”.

You can renew your subscription early by navigating to your “Subscriptions”, clicking on “View” next to the subscription of interest, then clicking “Renew Now”. This will add time to the end of your current subscription.

If you previously purchased a subscription over the phone or through the mail, you can renew by adding a subscription product to your cart and purchasing it. It will be added to the end of your current subscription.

You can also call our office for help in renewing your subscription, or mail in a cheque with your renewal notice.

  • How do I cancel my subscription?

Canceling your subscription can be done by calling our office, sending us an email at magazine@legion.ca, or by mailing us a notice (see contact page).

  • How do I cancel my automatic renewal?

Once signed into your account, go to “My Account” in the main menu, then “Subscriptions”. Once you are viewing the subscription of interest, you can click on the “Cancel” button. This will not cancel the delivery of your remaining magazines.

  • How do I change my address?

  • Can I send a subscription to a different address from my own?

Yes, you can! When purchasing a new subscription, there is a “gift subscriptionoption. At checkout, please fill out your own Billing Address as well as the separate Shipping Address for your giftee.

  • Is there a digital version of the magazine?

Yes, there is! You can purchase a digital subscription of Legion Magazine from our webstore here. Your digital subscription will also provide access to archived Legion Magazine issues, covering up to 10 years of content.

Many articles are freely available online and searchable on our website here.

  • Can I switch my print subscription of Legion Magazine for a digital subscription?

Yes, you can! Please call our office or write to us at magazine@legion.ca to request to switch from your print magazine to the digital e-magazine.

  • How do I access my digital Legion Magazine issues?

Once subscribing, you will receive an email notification as each new Legion Magazine is released. This email will include a link to access your digital library of issues.

  • Are the digital issues included with my print subscription?

No, our print issues and digital e-magazines are two separate subscriptions.

  • Can I purchase or access past magazines digitally?

Your digital subscription will also provide access to archived Legion Magazine issues, covering up to 10 years of content.

  • If I unsubscribe from my digital subscription, will I still have access to the issues I purchased?

Yes, your subscribed library of past issues will remain accessible. You will, however, stop receiving email notifications for future Legion Magazine releases.

  • I can’t find the magazine in stores, where can I get it?

You can find the most recent issue of both the Legion Magazine and Canada’s Ultimate Story on newsstands in select stores: Chapters, Indigo, Coles, Walmart, Shopper’s Drug Mart and select grocery stores and pharmacies.

If the magazine is no longer available on newsstands, it can be purchased from our webstore under the single issues category. You can also call our office for help in placing an order.

  • This back issue/item is out of stock or unavailable, can I still get it?

Back issues are not reprinted, so once a magazine is out of stock it is no longer available; they will remain visible on the webstore to highlight what topics we’ve previously covered.

  • Can I send an order to a different address from my own?

Yes, you can! When filling out your details at checkout, be sure to complete your own Billing Address, then check the box “Ship to a different address?” and proceed to fill out the Shipping Address that you would like to send your items to.

  • Can I ship to the US?

Unfortunately, we are unable to ship to the United States at this time. Until further notice, we are not processing new subscriptions or orders to the United States. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.
