Vintage War Posters (Version 1)

Recruitment posters were widely used during the First World War to encourage men to join the military effort. As the war progressed, the posters took a more forceful turn. This poster shamed fathers who remained at home into enlisting so they might have stories to tell their children after the war’s end.
